You've found it! After all of your looking – on line, open houses, touring with your Realtor – you have found your dream home. Getting a home inspector to investigate possibly your largest investment is an easy decision. But what should you expect from a home inspection? There is a big difference in what different home inspectors offer. You need "A home inspection the way it should be".

A home inspection should be...

Custom – No two properties are the same and not everyone needs nor wants the same home inspection. A re-habber in Mt. Kisco needs a different inspection than a family in Scarsdale. I offer different types of home inspections so
you can get the inspection that fits YOUR individual needs.

– No matter which of my inspections you choose, your home inspection will cover all of the details that are important to YOU. I schedule a maximum of two Clients per day so that I can spend the necessary time to complete your home inspection the way it should be. My
inspection also includes attendance with you on your final walk through, custom information about your home and common maintenance and safety tips.

Educational – While I do take the time to inspect your home thoroughly, I also take the time to explain the findings so that you fully understand your property’s condition. My home inspection reports are easy to read (computer generated) and customized with digital pictures of your new home. When finished, you should have a better understanding of the systems of your home and how they operate. Your report can be your home reference manual to refer to as needed. If you have any questions before, during or after the inspection, ask me. Helpful – I will do everything I can to help you through the inspection process. From the inspection agreement, the inspection itself, understanding your report and answering every question you may have – I work for you and I do not forget that. You may call with any question or for any reason, 6 am to 10 pm, seven days a week - forever. If I do not have the answer for you right away, I can call on over 8,000 members of the International Association of Certified Home Inspector (InterNACHI) who I can ask any question 24/7 and generally have an answer in a couple of hours.

Unbiased – I have no incentive to report anything other than the actual condition of your property. I only do home inspections and do not offer repairs or referrals for any issues that may be found. I do not work for the Realtor – even if they referred me to you. I work only for you and do everything I can to make the home inspection process as easy for you as possible.

Guaranteed – It’s simple, really. You should be completely satisfied with your inspection. Attend the inspection. If you are not satisfied with my efforts, tell me before you receive your report and I will make it right or you don’t pay.

Please Note:All refunds are for time and effort only. The cost of testing materials and lab fee"s will not be refunded.

My Promise To You

Choosing the right home inspector can be difficult. Furthermore, different inspectors have varying qualifications, equipment, experience, reporting methods, and yes, different pricing. One thing for sure is that a home inspection requires work, a lot of work. Ultimately a thorough inspection depends heavily on the individual inspector’s own efforts. I guarantee that I will give you my very best effort, and I will adhere to the stands of practice and the code of ethics as outlined by the NY State guidelines and NACHI, the National Association of Certified Home Inspectors, as well as provide a thorough and professional report. Together we can provide both our customers and clients with the very best in services we have to offer.
Sincerely - James White
