Please join me in congratulating our girls on their outstanding performance at GiM last Saturday.
Our A team placed 2nd overall. They placed 2nd in the team round and 3rd in the guts round. Additional congratulations to Hayden Hughes and Avery Xu who placed among the top 10 individual participants.
Girls in Math at Yale is a math team competition open to students from underrepresented genders, including women and non-binary people, and those who are otherwise marginalized. The competition consists of a guts round, a team round, and an individual round. GiM is currently the only girls/non-binary math high school competitions we participate in, as CMWMC no longer falls into this category.
