Last weekend, WAMC team competed at Carnegie Mellon Women's Mathematics Competition, a contest for advanced middle and high school female and non-binary students

This year, the team faced a difficult situation as the team captain Joyce Gong fell sick while already in Pittsburgh and was unable to participate in the competition. The organizers added a random competitor to our team giving the other two girls a chance to compete as a team.

Please join me in congratulating Erin Suk and Sonia Balaraman  on placing 14th overall while overcoming last minute difficulties. .
