What's the examination involve?

The boat safety examination is rather like getting an MOT for a car. There are things that have to be correct, there are other things which are not looked at (for instance the condition of the hull).

You can have the examination done up to 2 months before your current certificate expires and your new certificate will run until 4 years from the expiry of your old certificate.
