I'm a consultant, an educator, a scholar, a writer, a helper, and an advocate for my communities.

Back in 2012, I earned my Ph.D. in Philosophy from an Ohio State University. Since then, I taught at Grand Valley State University and then at Texas Christian University, where I earned the rank of Associate Professor in 2021.

As a scholar, my writing focuses mostly on intersections of philosophical aesthetics and ontology as well intersections of aesthetics and gender.

I'm a trauma-informed yoga teacher, a mindfulness teacher (certification in progress through the Center for Koru Mindfulness) and certified mindfulness coach, a certified philosophical consultant, and a sex counselor (certification in progress through the Sexual Health Alliance). Along with three fantastic collaborators, I'm a co-founder and director of the Mind Body Ecology Institute, a non-profit dedicated to combining scholarship, art, and contemplative practices to promote social change and climate consciousness.
