League/Cup Format 2018

The format for 35 teams to be played in 2018 are

        Winter League =    Division 1 - 8 Teams playing 14 H/A games. This may increase to 10 if numbers allow.
                                                                   Division 2 - 10 Teams playing 18 H/A games.
                                        Division 3 - 8 - 10 teams playing 14-18 Rounds H/A games.

                                        Division 4 - 8-10 teams playing 14-18 Rounds H/A games
        
        At the end of 7 rounds Div.3 and Div.4 may have teams promoted or relegated for the 2nd half of the season.

        At the completion of the 4 Leagues, Promo/Relegation games for each division will be played.
        The top teams of Divisions 2,3 and 4 will be automatically promoted.
        The bottom teams of Divisions 1,2 and 3 will be automatically relegated.
        The 2nd placed teams in Divisions 2,3 and 4 will play the 2nd to bottom teams in Divisions 1,2 and 3. The winners will be            promoted or remain in the Division. The Division above teams will have home advantage for the sake of Team colours. 
        Players become Cup tied as soon as they play for their team. 

        The Cup/Plate 

        At the completion of the first half of the season the Cup and Plate will begin. All teams are eligible to participate and can               choose which Knockout tournament they participate in

        Summer League = 3 or 4 Groups of 10 Teams playing 18 H/A games. JOIN NOW

        This new competition will take place in the same format as the Winter League.
        The season will kickoff on the 1st of October to 10th December then 28th Jan to 11th March
        All venues and Referees are included in the Registration Fee ($1000 Reg and $1500 Grounds) or teams can organise and
        pay for their own Home ground.
        Teams will be able to choose their home venue from a list.
       
        Promotion Relegation
        9th place in Division 1 and 2 plays 2nd in Division 1 and 2.
      
10th place in Divisions 1 and 2 are relegated. 1st in Division 2 and 3 are promoted.

        The Division 1 teams have the home advantage. The winners play in Division 1 and losers play in Division 2 for the
        following season.
