Neighbourhood Planning

ood Planning: The Localism Act has reformed the planning system to enable local people to have more say in determining planning policy for their local area.

Producing a Neighbourhood Development Plan gives local people the opportunity to decide the future of the place where they live and work. This allows the community to set out the vision for their area and the planning policies for the use and development of land.

The Wellington Heath Parish Council has decided to create a neighbourhood plan and has formed a working group to carry out the development process.

A working group website has been developed which can be accessed here:Neighbourhood Development Plan Working Group Website.
