My name is Rachel Green and I have been a Chartered Counselling Psychologist for over 15 years working in the NHS and in private practice during that time.  I started out working in Clinical Health with people suffering from health related conditions then moved on to work in sexual health with young women and then worked in primary care for many years most recently for South London & Maudsley NHS Trust.  I work with adults, young people and couples.

As a Chartered Counselling Psychologist I have been  trained in several models of therapy and the main models that I use in my work are: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR)

Mindfulness is also a key part of my practice which I use personally and professionally and I also use Positive Psychology in my work which can be particularly helpful in thinking about personal and professional development.  I also supervise other therapists and trainee Psychologists as part of my work.

I am a Chartered Psychologist and a Fellow of the British Psychological Society, I am an accredited CBT therapist (cognitive behavioural therapist) and I have been trained in Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR).  I am a member of the Health & Care Professional Council (HPCP) as a practitioner Psychologist.  I have my own regular supervision and I abide by the code of ethics as set out by the BABCP, HPCP and BPS, see the links below for more detail.

If you are interested in seeing me you can contact me directly yourself, but I also take referrals from GP’s and some Private Health Care Providers. Please contact me if you are covered by private medical insurance and wish to pay this way.
