    We are working on a STEM unit on electricity. The children will learn about the basics of electricity and setting up circuits.  They will learn how to draw a schematic diagram and design parallel and series circuits.The culminating project will be the creation of a circuit which will activate a buzzer and illuminate a light bulb. It should be enlightening!
    The children are doing great in math. They are confident with long division using a 1-digit divisor.
    Our next chapter is working with fractions. Students will be adding and subtracting fractions by the end of the unit.
    IOWA Testing will begin in April. The children will do great!
    I wish everyone a holy and blessed Easter.

    Vocab:  Unit 18 test on 5/31;

    Math: finish worksheet p. 116

    Dear Parents,

    The end of the year is almost here. I am planning a 4th grade graduation prayer service for the morning of June 19th (the last day of school). As part of the service I am asking that parents write a note of support for their child as he/she  moves on to a new school. During the service, the notes will be given to the students.

    Thank you,

    Diane Jussaume

    Please have your child practice his/her multiplication facts.
