Friday Night Cooking Class Dinner Parties

Are you in a cooking rut? Is your repertoire of three or four meals getting old? Imagine entering the kitchen of a well known local chef for a candle-lit multi-course meal, wine and music, followed by dessert and coffee. Along the way, you will learn the secrets of local professional chef and caterer Sarah Hipple. Gather around the large butcher-block cooking island, to observe the methods and practices employed by this local chef who has cooked intimate dinners for two to extravagant weddings and events for three hundred. Come learn to cook like a chef in the home kitchen of a professional.

The 3 hour format is simple:

                • ½ hour reception with wine and appetizers (prepared by the chef)
                • 1 ½ hours of hands-on cooking instruction (dishes prepared by you!)
                • 1 hour dining, wine, laughter, new friends and experiences

When you show up at the front door you will be greeted with a glass of wine (or seltzer!) paired with delicious appetizers and then seated at the large butcher block cooking island where the feast will be prepared before your eyes. Be ready to put on an apron and learn some new skills, because you will be joining in to prepare the meal, learning tips and tricks employed by professionals.

Come on your own, with a date, or book the night for a group of friends. The maximum group size is six, and together you will prepare and eat a delicious multi-course home-cooked meal to be shared around the long family style table. This is the perfect opportunity to not only share a delicious meal and memories with friends new and old, but to become more confident in your cooking and your ability to create food that will make people happy.
