After finishing my Master's degree in 2009 at the University of Basel, supervised by Christoph Bruder and Thomas L. Schmidt (now at Université du Luxembourg), I moved to the RWTH Aachen, where I was a PhD student under the supervision of Janine Splettstoesser (now Chalmers University). I defended my thesis in 2013.
Afterwards, I moved to the CEA Grenoble for a first post-doc between 2013 and 2015, working with Manuel Houzet, Julia S. Meyer, and Yuli V. Nazarov (TU Delft). Then, until 2018, I collaborated with Gianluigi Catelani, Leonid I. Glazman, and Robert J. Schoelkopf for a second post-doc, where I have been affiliated with both the Forschungszentrum Jülich and Yale University.
In 2018, I have been awarded a junior research grant by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, Germany. Thanks to this award, I am as of December 2018 a junior group leader at the PGI-2 of the Forschungszentrum Jülich, under the direction of David P. DiVincenzo.
