As with any technology, problems can arise. In the vast majority of cases, problems that you experience with your Activboard can be solved on-site in minutes. The purpose of this troubleshooting site is to connect you to solutions for common troubleshooting problems. We hope this limits downtime and frustration. The topics covered here are solutions that can get your board back up and running quickly. Click on one of the attachments at the bottom of this page. Below is a list and description of each troubleshooting resource.
Start the troubleshooting process by:
1. Check all computer connections at both ends (USB, VGA, Ethernet).
2. Update software (Open software click Help > Check for updates . . .).
3. Update driver (See information sheet on Updating Software below or Promethean Planet).
4. Ask the Educational Technology Specialist (ETS at elementary schools only), High School IT Directors, Activboard Site Trainer (some schools) or another knowledgeable user at your site for assistance.
