What a productive and exciting year we have had!! I am happy to report that this years PTSO board was amazing! We would like to thank the amazing volunteers who were always ready to face whatever we had for them. We appreciate the support that was given this year by all the parents who took time out of their busy schedules to help us out. We hope that next year gets as much support as this one did!!
We started the new school year out in September with a new Principal, Bobby Johnston. Welcome aboard!
In October we took the kids to see the Goosebumps movie. We walked from the middle school on down to the movie theater on Main Street. That was interesting getting so many kids down the street. Thankfully we had the help of Warren County Sheriffs Officer.
Throughout the year we worked in the concession stand during many sporting events such as basketball, volleyball and wrestling. We even provided concessions at a wrestling tournament at Skyline High School. If you attended one of these events, you probably met one of the board members! The concession stand is a big fundraiser for us to help fund event for your children. Please continue to support our concession stand!! We greatly appreciate it. :)
We also were at the concession stand for all of the dances!! Every month there was a fun dance at the school. April's Semi-formal was the last dance of the year. We are sure the kids had a great time dressing up and we hope to be able to do it again.
PTSO provides many other things to the school. We payed for movie rights so your child could watch movies in school. We helped the National Junior Honors Society be in the middle school. We provided funds for the muscial, Hairspray Jr. We also help to provide many treats to the teachers during Teacher Appreciation Week. We would not be able to do all these things without your partnership. We hope that you continue to support the middle school. We are still looking for board members for the upcoming school year. Please contact Jason Neale if you are able to help out next year! Thank you.
Come join us in supporting our home team tonight starting at 6pm against Floyd T. Binns.
Concessions will be open.
