Welcome to the Warren County Fire Academy!
Providing safe, high quality & innovative fire/rescue education and training.
Academy is a five month
training course for volunteer firefighters that was established through the Warren County Firefighters Association. The academy provides hands-on and
classroom training, as well as live fire training simulations that will cover
all basic firefighting topics that new firefighters need. The course is instructed by fire instructors
from different Warren
County agencies. They
will deliver up-to-date emergency service techniques designed to give the
firefighter a solid foundation of technical knowledge and skills needed to prevent,
suppress fires and handle other related emergencies.
After attending the Firefighter Academy,
participants will be prepared to certify for Firefighter I, II and Hazardous
Materials Operations. All requirements will be met by attending the Fire Academy.
Written and skills exams will be administered at the end of the Firefighter I
& II sections by the Fire Service Training Bureau.
The mission of the Warren County Fire Academy is to provide,
coordinate and support the County's current and projected training and
educational initiatives in an effort to maintain or improve all aspects of
