If you want to hear it from an expert, here he is.  Dr. Crqaven works with the WiDNR and recently retired from UW Madison as a professor in mammalogy and ecological systems.  Many people recognize him from his weekly radio program or from his work with deer.  This program will focus on those mammals commonly found in residential yards.

June 23rdBirds and Climate Change

  10 am Dr. Benjamin Zuckerberg

Dr. Zuckerberg is a Climate Change Ecologist.  The evidence that wildlife populations are responding to modern climate change is now overwhelming. There is a strong scientific consensus that environmental tipping points are being crossed, and many species are adapting (or failing to adapt) to novel climatic conditions.  He heads a laboratory at the University of Wisconsin-Madison that focuses on various species and their response to the growing climate changes.
