Alaska Sea Life Center Sculpture

In the spring of 2010 I received a
commission from the Alaska Sea Life
Center in Seward, Alaska to do a
sculptural piece related to the sea. I had suggested ideas with salmon made out of the material I call Beach-stone.   Here you see the right side on site in Seward

This carved concrete-based sculpture was made at my shop in Homer, Alaska

On these pages I will show you how it was designed, how it was built and how it was moved to Seward.
