Head Coach: Becky Lassila

Coach Becky has been coaching archery since 2008.  In 2010 she became the Head Coach/Program director for WBL Archery.  As part of the WBL program she has taken two teams to Nationals every year since 2010 and a team to Worlds every year since 2011.  Last year (2014) the team placed  in the top 18% of the nation (out of 10,000 shooters) and 14th in the World.  One of her archers placed 1st at Nationals and 2nd at World for his division.
Coach Becky has transitioned the high school program from club to an official team sport with WBL School District recognition.  The archery teams have been recognized for their achievements at WBL Board Recognition events.

The program has an average of 120 archers per year.  The club/team age ranges from 5 years old  and up.  The program can be seen at many community events sharing archery information and showing how fun archery can be while promoting the club/team.

As part of the NASP (National Archery in the Schools Program)  Becky also holds the Region 3 Event Coordinator position for the Metro area.

Becky is also involved in the WBL volleyball programs holding a position on the WBL JO Board and coaching middle school volleyball at Sunrise.

Coach Becky started as a teacher and has continued promoting opportunities for personal growth and developing relationships among peers and community for children and their families through coaching archery and volleyball.

Coach Becky has three children and they are all involved in some type of activity in the WBL school and community.
