The House of Manna is an ecumenical global mission outpost for Christian transformation led by the PCUSA through the Pittsburgh Presbytery.
It provides healing through recovery for all of God's people. Recovery from the love of the Word to a complete love of Jesus Christ.
The ministry of the House of Manna is one of healing for everyday people across racial, economic, and/or denominational lines.
We want to partner with other churches to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with everyday people in Homewood-Brushton specifically and others across the globe, generally, through the building of relationships utilizing methodologies that reach the people.
The House of Manna feeds the soul and the body of God's people. One example occurs during our weekly celebration of Christ. It's like a weekly party to share the word and evangelize. During the celebration, some go out into the community to evangelize, others feed the people as they come in, all the while, we use contemporary methods to share the gospel.
Churches in the presbytery have partnered with us some financially, some pray for us, some spread the word, others attend our events, and others like Waverly Presbyterian Church bring food and fellowship, becoming part of the body.
Our vision is to see everyday people live the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
