Our Theology of Giving

There are many reasons why people give.

The number one reason is because they were asked to give.  Some give as a form of quid pro quo; paying for services rendered.  Some give their “fair share.”  Some give because giving is part of their personal core values.  For others, it is part of their family heritage.  Some people give because they wish to create a legacy.

While, these are both practical and reasonable motivations, there is another: a wish to offer a joy-filled and grateful response to God, for God's steadfast love, grace, and generosity.
