Library

Our library is located on the first floor, next to the Arahants’ Hall.  1 library entranceThe library is stocked with Theravada Buddhist books in the English, Thai and Chinese languages.

The library was set up to allow its members and devotees to have a better knowledge of the Buddhist teachings. Resident and visiting monks to use the facilities for references in their teaching. It has a full collection of the Nikayas in English and Thai.

Our present collection of books is growing slowly and we intend to provide a full set of the Pali Tipitaka (scriptural texts of the Theravada school of Buddhism) in Thai and romanised Pali.  As a full English translation is not yet completed, we will acquire them as and when they are made available.  We also plan to provide audio and visual facilities in our library, in keeping with more recent developments in the techniques of dissemination of the Dhamma.

Non members are allowed to borrow the books as well. They need to register with the librarian, and fill in the forms.

Operating Hours: Every Sunday 1-3pm

Book-drop Hours: 7am to 7pm daily.

Dharma books for free distribution are also made available outside the library (in the Arahants' hall) as shown in the picture above.
