2013-2014 Traffic Safety Course
Your child has the opportunity to sign up for a Traffic Safety class offered by the Waterville School District, taught by Lucy Zychek in Fall 2013.
Only 20 students will be allowed in our Traffic Safety Education course for the 2013-2014 school year. Due to many conflicts and requests, our TSE class at WHS will be taught in the fall this school year and will be completed by December of 2013. Acceptance will be based on age of 15 by September 1, 2013 and $350 course fee paid in full. Please be aware that these classes fill quickly, and we often are not able to accommodate all students who meet the age requirements due to our limited class size. We will begin accepting fee payments for students today and will continue taking payments until the class is full. Please contact Jackie Tupling in the Waterville School District Business Office at 745-8584 for payment specific questions and to arrange payments during the summer months. All students will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis. Payment in full will reserve your child’s seat in the class.
The total cost of Traffic Safety is $350.
The TSE class consists of about 33 classes, will follow the school district calendar and will take place early mornings before the school day. Mrs. Zychek will instruct both the classroom portion and behind the wheel driving which will be scheduled individually after school. Please note; parents and students will be notified of any class changes by phone or in class the day prior.
There will be a mandatory student and parent meeting after the start of school.
We look forward to helping your child become a safe and courteous driver. Please contact Lucy Zychek at 745-8583 or at email@example.com for questions about the course and its content.
