Synapse is the Washington University in St. Louis College Student Interest Group in Neuroscience, a group devoted to the exploration of neuroscience and associated issues. We organize mentorships for students interested in careers in clinical and research-oriented neuroscience. We host speakers in order to increase awareness for neuroscience-related topics. We also reach out to the St. Louis community through neuroscience-related volunteer activities.

We will be inviting three neuroscience graduate students to talk about their experiences in graduate school, their research and their life on a daily basis. This panel is for students who are interested in pursuing a research career in general.
