Dodging the Great Recession





The president can't expect any credit for doing the right thing. One great quality of the American people is that they don’t spend time looking in the rearview mirror. The past is past. A disaster averted is a disaster forgotten. Thereby hangs Obama’s problem come November. He saved us from despair — and we don’t care.
