The books below have EPUB and PRC/MOBI versions.

Georg Brandes (1842-1927) was of European importance in the second half of the 19th century.  Main Currents in Nineteenth Century Literature (six volumes) is his magnum opus.  You can find it at Gutenberg. They have added some pictures and forgotten to mention me in the first four volumes.

Autobiography from 1923 by the English butler Eric Horne.
Eric Horne was almost certainly not his name.
The book is of interest if you are a fan of Edwardian romances or interested in English social history of that period.

Heavenly Discourse by Charles Erskine Scott Wood.
The Discourses take place around the first world war, but the more things are different the more they are the same. One fifth of the American population TODAY thinks that the Sun goes around the Earth. Some even think that the Earth is flat!!!

There is much talk about copyright these days. Most of it is inane. In 1842/42  the lawyer, author, politician and bookreader, Macaulay explained 95 percent of what there is to say.

More can be said of course. The American science fiction writer Eric Flint has written a lot about the matter.  See here:
https://www.ericflint.net/index.php/2011/09/26/salvos-against-big-brother/
He explains, using his own experiences,  why it is good business to give away free e-copies, and he proves it with numbers and statistics.
