“The purpose of life is not to be happy. It is to be useful,
to be honorable, to be compassionate, to have it make some
difference that you have lived and lived well.”

Spearheaded by the First Congregational Church of Wallingford, CT

"You see, his faith and his actions worked together.  His actions made his faith complete...Just as the body is dead without breath, so also faith is dead without good works" (James 2:22-26 NLT).

The mission of The Wallingford Workcamp Team is to serve the under-served through good faith and good works.  Through hard work and prayer, we are partnering with Group Mission Trips to provide 50-70 residents in the community with needed home repairs.

"All facets of the experience are life changing and rewarding.  Having been a camper before and getting the opportunity to work with Group as a staff member, it was a simple choice to try and bring this home to the Wallingford area"-Connor Filkins (Wallingford Workcamp Team Member)
