My Tunes Game
or Writing My Own
Short Tune!
I enjoyed playing piano with the Music Fairy So Much! I felt so happy!
Then, the Icicle Puppy came, and started jumping around me. It had large paper circles in its mouth.
“The puppy wants to play My Tunes Game with you. You have to hop a short tune for the words written on the circles” – the Music Fairy explained.
I took the paper circles from the puppy – there were 3 The first circle had “Happy” written on it, the second one – “Sad", and the third one – “March”.
“Put the cards on the floor so that you can’t see what they say. Now turn around – don’t look”, I heard the Music Fairy moving the cards. “Ready. Pick a card”
I picked a card – it read "Sad. "
“It does not have to be long – just a few notes long, which we learnt. If you want, you can do them on the bridge first.”
No problem! This is so easy!
I hopped on the bridge’s lowest long icicle (E) and walked the following sequence for the puppy very slowly to show how sad I was: E, E, E, E, E, D, C, D, E. Then I played it on the piano very slowly also.
Fun, Fun, Fun!!! The puppy repeated after me without a problem!
What did you do, buddy? What word did you hop and play? Don’t lose what you wrote. You might want to use it for your own song later, composer!
And now, it is probably time for you to go to bed, my favorite little buddy! Sweet dreams!
Next time, we will play another game:
Back to the icicle bridge or Tuning my ears!
