Train Ride To The Magic Bridge

What a train! Each car was fascinating! As I walked from car to car I heard songs played in different languages!

At the head of the train was a snow blower car with a small train inside, running in the middle. The small train followed me into the next car.

This car had “Joseph”on one side written in multicolor letters, many computers inside,

and a TV connected to a camera outside to see the places we were passing. There was also

a huge screen for a projection TV, and a multicolor crystal clock with electric train

moving from number to number very slowly.

Wow! What at train! What's in the next car? I wondered.

I pulled the door handle, nut it would not open.

"Here you are," I heard a friendly voice of the Music Fairy Melodia.

"This car has a big aquarium you are welcome to swim in, only

I want to make sure you are safe, " she smiled.

"Your mom would want me to." she continued smiling.

She slowly opened the door.

Wow! This box car had a huge aquarium full of red and

yellow sea stars, multicolor sea horses, big red fish with golden stripes,

purple and pink fish with red spots, green and red small and big plants, and cute snails.

There were steps to go down the aquarium, a snorkel mask and a special suit to wear in the

water. I quickly put the suit and a snorkel mask on, and climbed into the water tank.

It was great!!! I swam inside the aquarium, while the fish and water creatures came

to greet me!

When I climbed out of the aquarium, another surprise awaited me.

Would you believe, a real mermaid!

"Hello!" I said totally surprised.

"Meet my good friend, Sapphire, Joseph!" Melodia was all smiles.

"Buona Giornata, Joseph! I am a Sea Fairy. You are passing by my home, so I thought to

come by," said the beautiful mermaid.

"Look in the window - there is my home," she pointed towards an island on the far right.

"Here, I have the pictures of my home to show you," she pulled out photographs from her pocket.

"Wow, I never saw a home this beautiful!" I exclaimed.

"I love that boat!"

"La barca a vela?" replied the Sea Fairy with a smile.

"I made it myself. Here, " she pulled the boat out of her other pocket.

"This is for you," Sapphire stretched out her hand with the boat.

"I want you to have it. And I hope, you will remember, as you get older my words, that

our life is like a sailboat - you never know where the wind will blow from.

Sometimes, we will just follow the wind. Yet other times, we will navigate the winds!"

"What do you think, Joseph?"

"I will sail, Sea Fairy!" I said excitedly. "I will learn how to, I promise!"

I took the boat. It looked so real!

"To your adventures!" exclaimed Sapphire.

"I see, my little friend came to get me," she pointed outside the window.

"Ciao Joseph," she blew me a kiss and slid out the side door into the sea.

"Good bye, Sapphire! Thank you so much for your present!" I yelled to her.

"Wow, Melodia! What a friend you have!" I said breathlessly.

"This is just a beginning, my friend," smiled the Music Fairy.

"Go on, explore the next car," she opened the door of the next car for me.

I ran into the next car.

I was surprised to find it full of huge bubbles of different colors and shapes.

These bubbles did not pop as I rolled and jumped on top of and ran thru them.

I set the bubbles up as a tunnel, turning left, right, up and down.

Just then, suddenly, the train went up and bounced back down.

"This train must have springs!" I thought.

I ran to the car, which had a TV connected to the camera on the outside of the train.

I could see that there was a mountain in the back of us we just jumped over!

Ahead of the train there was a wild river. To get to the other side of it, the engine started

digging a tunnel under the sand. Inside the new tunnel train tracks were put in for the train

to move over. All this work was automated and took only 5 minutes!

I ran back inside the train to see the other cars. I passed thru an orchestra car,

which had old player pianos and music boxes, playing the Yankee Doodle song.

Then I ran thru a box car, shaped like a moon, carrying chicken eggs

in an incubator. There was plenty of grains all over the floor for when the chicks will

hatch.

Next I ended up in a car full of live flowers, butterflies, turtles and monkeys.

There was also a proud peacock, walking around and showing off his gorgeous tail.

Tiny green lights flickered everywhere as fireflies were calling each other, and I could hear

woodpeckers drumming on the miniature trees inside the car.

At the end of the car there was a big kitchen with a red refrigerator. I peeked inside -

everything looked so delicious and fresh: apples, oranges, almonds, coconuts, and even

frozen banana icecream in the freezer. I ate an orange and almonds,

and began feeding baby turtles and monkeys.

“Next stop is Fantasy Bridge, our stop” - yelled the Music Fairy from the car’s door,

when she and my mom finally found me and Rainbow playing with monkeys.

“Get ready to get off. The train will make a short stop only.”
