- Number of
walks/days required can be discussed at our initial meeting.
- Your choice of
service can be changed in line with your dogs needs and age.
- Services can
be provided between the hours of 9am and 6pm, Monday to Friday excluding
public holidays unless by special arrangement.
- Weekends Early Mornings (before 9am) and
Evenings (after 6pm) extra 10% on normal fee
- Short notice
bookings (less than 24 Hours) extra 10% on normal fee
- We will carry out the services you require with reasonable care and skill, and ensure we undertake from you or an external provider any training required to meet you or your Pets needs and Expectations.
- Services will be provided, where no time has been agreed, it will be carried out with in a reasonable time. we will endevour to service your pet within 2 hours of the agreed time, this is to allow for emergencies and or circumstances beyond our control and with previous clients' pets.
- You will
provide your dogs usual collar, lead, food, treats, bowls, access to
water, toys etc. If no lead is provided or cannot be easily found, we will
charge the full fee for attending. Where possible we will exercise your pet
in the confines of your premises.
- If I am unable
to contact you or your emergency contact whilst your pet is in my care
then I reserve the right to consult a vet and make a decision which is in
the best interests of the animal.
- Notice of my
holidays will be given well in advance allowing you to make other
- If, each time
i walk your pet, you wish me to collect a key in advance or from a
location other than a direct neighbour, there may be a charge of £5 per
travel is normally included in the price, a small travel fee may have to
be added to your bill if you live outside the area I normally cover.
- Walkies Devon
is not held responsible if your dog gets out of your garden, if the garden
has not been made secure by you the owner.
- Whilst your
Bitch is in season, i will not walk her. Unless you sign a disclamer
allowing me to do so as Walkies Devon cannot be held liable for any
offspring arising from any event whist your animal is in our care.
- I am unable to
walk any animal not upto date with all vaccinations and parasite
treatments, unless you sign a disclaimer stating Walkies Devon are not
liable for any issues arising from this.
- It is
essential you keep Walkies Devon of any new or changed medical conditions
as we cannot be responcible for problems arising from any medical
condition we are unaware of
- If your pet is
aggressive to staff, client pets or members of the public, Walkies Devon
has the right to terminate services without notice or compensation.
- We will do our
best in bad weather (Ice Snow Fog) to make all appointments but limited by
Police advice. If we cannot safely access your property due to the
prevailing conditions, we will inform you and make other arrangements. It
is onus on you to inform us of the conditions at your location, if we
arrive to find no access we will still charge for the visit.
NOTICE OF RIGHT TO CANCEL
have a 7 day cooling off period after the initial meeting (or receipt of contract if later) in which to
cancel in writing or by email your agreement to service with no cost, your cancellation is
deemed to be from the date of posting or sending of Email in this time, any
services in this time you will have to pay for.
you wish to cancel the contract at any other time you must do so in
writing, either by post, email or in your Diary, your cancellation is
deemed to be from the date of posting or sending of Email unless you
specify a date in the future.
- If I have to
cancel due to any unforeseen circumstances, such as illness, I will
endeavour to give you as much notice as possible there will be no charge
for bookings we cancel.

sits will be subject to a 20% non refundable deposit (this will be part of
the full cost)
- CASH: All ad hoc bookings
must be paid, in cash, on collection of your dog.
- Regular customers: Will be
invoiced at the end of each week or month. Payment is by cash or BACs.
- Prompt payment
is gratefully received. Payment to be no later than 7 days after invoice
date. If payment is not received by this date then 10% of the bill will be
added to the total for each day that payment is overdue.
