to our church - we invite you to look around and get a feel for our church. Feel free to share any comments or questions that might be on your mind through our online guest book. If you're not currently a member of our church - we'd like to take this opportunity to invite you to one of our weekly services. And of course, feel free to reach out and call on our pastor.

We've seen the transformation many times - people who came to us full of doubt and uncertainty become secure in the knowledge of their rightful place in God's great kingdom.  The change may start slowly - in a Bible Study class or choir participation, perhaps - but once it begins, it picks up speed.  The good works, shared experiences, time spent in prayer - all bring us closer to our highest calling of service and dedication to God.

We'd also like to invite you to make an online prayer request. Your prayer request opens the door, and God is waiting patiently on the other side of that door, at all times, in all situations, to join with you.

Walhalla Presbyterian is a theologically conservative church with preaching and teaching from The Holy Bible, the inspired Word of God.

Many blessings to you,

Members of the Walhalla Presbyterian Church

Walhalla Presbyterian Bible Study

Rev. Dr. Jackson Taylor has graciously agreed to lead our 2019 Bible Study.

Please join us beginning on Thursday, March 14 from 6-7 pm. This four-week interactive Bible Study is open to all and will be held on the church balcony. No registration, preparation or material is needed for these informal sessions. Class dates are: March 14 (Week 1); March 21 (Week 2); March 28 (Week 3); and April 4 (Week 4). Feel free to participate in as many weeks as you are able.

Our Focus During this Four-Week Bible Study

Have you ever wondered what the priest prayed on his annual visit into the holy of holies? The crowds around John the Baptist were in a frenzy. Could He be the Messiah? Why were the people looking for a Messianic Leader in the first place?

Our Bible Study will look at how the Old Testament paved the way for the coming of the Messiah. How did the Messianic Expectation come to be? Why was the Messiah to be called the Son of David? Why did Jesus refer to himself as the Son of Man? Why did the people sing Hosanna as Jesus entered Jerusalem?

Our hope is to answer these and many other questions as we look to Easter.
