Request for Board of Director Nominations

Dear Walden Woods HOA Members,


We have three (3) Board of Director positions to fill this next election.   At this time, we are requesting nominations for the Board of Directors.  Any qualifying member may nominate him/herself or another qualifying member.  If someone other than the candidate places a name into the nomination, the nominee will be contacted to verify his/her willingness to be on the ballot and serve on the board. The term of office is two years starting September 29, 2019 at the WWHOA Annual meeting.


Qualifications.  Per our bylaws Article VII, Section 2, The Board of Directors shall consist of five (5) persons who shall be Owners of Lots who reside within the Properties and whose memberships are in good standing with all Assessments current and are not subject to any suspension of membership rights. Only one Owner per Lot shall be eligible to serve on the Board at any time. 


Proof of membership.  Member must be listed on the deed that has been recorded with the County Recorder's Office.  An unrecorded deed does not confer membership status.  Community property rights do not make spouses who are not on title "owners" qualified to serve on the board.

Close of Nominations.  All nominations must be submitted no later than 5 p.m. on August 4, 2019.

If you are nominating yourself on the Board of Director Candidate Nomination form, write ‘SELF’ for person to nominate; otherwise, enter the name of the homeowner you are nominating.  Please submit nominations to the Vice President, David Howe at 8295 Walden Woods Way or mail to:  WWHOA Nominations, P.O.
