Born in Akita, Japan in 1990. Started the piano at the age of 3. In 1998, Wakana got an encouragement award and special recognition award at the final of PTNA piano competition, Japan. In 1999, Wakana played Mozart Piano concerto no.12 with Nagoya music association orchestra. In 2004, Wakana participated the master class of Willem Brons and Vladmir Tropp in Amsterdam. Her performance during the final concert was broadcasted by Dutch Radio. In 2006,2007,2008,2009,2011. Wakana participated at the International Summer Academy in Marktoberdorf (Germany). At the final concert of this master class in 2011, Wakana was selected to play Mozart piano quartet with Prof. Stephan Picard and Prof. Ulf Tischbirek. In 2009, Wakana entered the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, studied with Prof. Willem Brons. In 2010, Wakana got a 1st prize at the Princess Christina Concours in Haarlem. This prize gave her the opportunity to play many Dutch towns. In 2011, Wakana was invited to play in the Spiegel Zaal at the Concertgebouw Amsterdam. Her performance at the Concertgebouw was broadcasted by Dutch Radio. In 2013, Wakana was invited to play in the NRC-Handelblad, the famous Dutch newspaper. In 2013, Wakana completed Bachelor study with Cum Laude (At the top of the list). As an award of Cum Laude, she got a scholorship from J.Vonk Foundation. In 2014, Wakana had a debut recital (together with Prof.Willem Brons) at Hakuju Hall, Tokyo. In 2015, Wakana completed Master study with Cum Laude. In 2015, Wakana got the second prize and special award at the International Geelvinck fortepiano competition.
