Summer Camp with Habitat -

The camp is no longer accepting registrations.
The WAHS Robotics Club is running a summer camp in conjunction with Habitat.

Date: the week of June 19, mornings, from 9 am to noon.Displaying Copy of File_000.jpeg
Location:  Rainbow House at Southwood (750 Java Court)
Cost: Free
Open to children in grades 2 and up

Activities: each morning, students will rotate through three stations:
  • Building using Hummingbird robots, Legos
  • Programming using Scratch and other similar visual languages. Spheros and Finch robots will be programmed 
  • Creative/physical robot-related activity
The camp will be run by high school students supervised by their robotics club mentors.

Funding for camp materials provided by a grant from the Shannon Foundation that supports teachers and teaching in the Charlottesville area.
