Celebration of H.M. The Queen's 90th Birthday

On Monday 6th June we held a "Red, White and Blue" themed evening to celebrate H.M. The Queen's 90th Birthday. Most members followed the dress code and came wearing red, white and blue and the hall was decorated with red, white and blue bunting and a union flag.

Janet, our Club Secretary baked fairy cakes and decorated them with a suitable topping.

Keith and Jackie kindly filled in and made the hot drinks while
David , our Club Treasurer, provided a non alcoholic sparkling wine for the loyal toast which was proposed by Barry

Simon used records from the "Royal" label and we were pleased to welcome our students into the Main Hall all evening for the first time - we all thought they coped very well.
