Electronic Field Trip Providers

Sometimes called Electronic or Virtual Field Trips, Videoconference Field Trips enable students to visit museums, ocean tidal pools, or to train with astronauts from the comfort of their classroom. These interactive experiences allow students to ask questions, meet new people and to safely travel anywhere in the world.

Connect2Texas  Connect2Texas is a network of Texas-based educational content providers including museums, cultural, historical, and scientific organizations, and authors.  These providers utilize interactive videoconferencing to connect to schools and deliver live educational programs and professional development to school children and educators around Texas and across the country.  Bring the scientists, experts, and authors directly to your students without leaving the classroom!  

Students & Leaders Network   View experts explaining their careers. The program features live Q&A video discussions and a digital library of topics that provide information and insight on careers and life challenges for students. Additional video sessions of experts explaining their careers are continually added.

TWICE (Two Way Interactive Connections in Education)  Your one stop source for K-12 video conference information. This website has a number of great resources, including a collaboration center – CAPspace (free registration required)
