 Canon EOS350D piggybacked on a 10" LX200GPS taken on the 05/04/2008. Exposure was 4 Minutes at 800ISO f/4 and a 75mm focal length lens was used.

Looking through to the galactic centre. Canon EOS350D piggybacked on a 10" LX200GPS taken on the 11/10/2006. Exposure was 120 sec at 800ISO f/4 and a 75mm focal length lens was used.

 

This may not look like much as it is but click on the image and see what there is to be seen - M27 The Dumbell Nebula is toward the centre and M71 the globula cluster is up around 11 0' clock on this image.
