NJ Public Health Amateur Radio Club (W2MCC)
NJPHARC was founded with the purpose of managing amateur radio communications for public health and healthcare institutions in Central West New Jersey. Cooperating with the regional Medical Coordination Center (MCC) program and local RACES/ARES groups, we work to move information and preserve lives during times of crisis. Additionally, we supplement the information available to healthcare emergency workers as additional "boots on the ground".
Our Mission:
-- to educate, train, license, network, share information, and promote amateur radio emergency communications in the healthcare and public health communities. Putting it more simply:
COLLABORATE - COORDINATE - COMMUNICATE
NJ PHARC is an affiliate of the American Radio Relay League (ARRL).
