Uniject

The Uniject is a proprietary and only version of a Compact Prefillled Autodisable Device (CPAD) that  is currently available for delivering injnectable vaccines.

There have been very positive field evaluations of the Uniject for delivering TT campaigns and for the HepB birth dose.  Therefore, VPPAG has recommended CPADs as a desirbale option for  new vaccine formulations.

This page is to enable sharing of information and further discussion on the potential for CPADs for vaccines used in developign countries by the public sector.

Summary of Uniject issues presented to VPPAG on 17 Feb 2009 - attached.
