Web Applications and Portals

This list captures website based applications for astronomy.  It focuses on those websites that can be used for accessing, aggregating and acquiring resources from the full network of "virtual" resources or those that use these same VO services to perform image analysis or reduction.

The term "Portal" is used by various websites and generally speaking can be thought of a location that draws together other web applications, providing either invisible "connections" between them or a web store for pooling "found" or user provided data for additional analysis.
