We, as a group of graduate students at UNR from different disciplines including College of Education and College of Engineering, strive to develop and promote increasing unity within the university by bringing together volunteered student educators to give back to the community through educational activities. This club is dedicated to closing the success gap between low and high performing K-12 public schools in the State of Nevada.

With what our logo says "Volunteers4education:Where university meets with the school", the mission and the goal of our volunteers are to meet the schools with the university and provide support for students, school programs, and school staff. In addition, we strive to keep the focus of our endeavors in the best interest of the students’ academic and personal growth. We believe we have made a very worthwhile choice to volunteer for students in schools. We know our involvement with the students will be a worthy one both from a personal standpoint and from the knowledge that we are making a major distinction in a young person’s life scheme.
