Resolve Your Inner Conflict Now...

Quiet in the Eye of the Storm

Home Study Course with Audio Guide

Tired of situations disrupting your inner calm?

Unsure about your ability to weather the storms?

Exhausted by battles erupting at the most unexpected moments?

You don't want to admit it, but you're a bit nervous, even scared.

You watch the media headlines from the disintegrating world economy and read about how many dollars were lost, and how many businesses have collapsed with people out of work.

Or, as an alternative you see the latest war with the typical bloody face of a child sitting alone amongst the pile of his massacred family, or a mother wailing beside the dead body of her young child, impotent to bring him back to life.

Today, the world is changing so fast - from one day to the next, you're not sure if your income is secure, if your health is ok, if your family is secure. You feel like it's you, alone, against the world, and the world may just be winning.

"A beautiful and intimate voice of reason providing healing tools to apply in all the conflicts life hands us."

~Susan Jeffers, PhD, bestselling author of Feel the Fear & Do It Anyway and Life is Huge!

I know the realities of these stories big-time, because I have lived in Israel for 16 years and have been a first hand observer of political unrest and war, including watching a bomb explode in front of me during the 2006 war in Northern Israel which shook me to my core, and shocked my body into another reality.

As a passionate reseacher of ancient healing music practices, the extremesituations provided great opportunities to revive them in modern times. I practiced them on myself and shared them withothers during real time conflict. I noticed three main reactions that even the most conscious, peace loving people had to sudden unexpected violent blasts...

  • The strong and tough took flight to escape dangers way. Those with enough money to travel elsewhere can "take a vacation", lay low and live life as "usual", until the storm can pass. These people often end up causing damage elsewhere when suddenly, their emotions snap and their close intimates standing by are suddenly stung with poisonous venom.

  • Then there were the peace makers who turn to blame and criticism. Whether it be over one political more or another, inaction, or worse, blaming themselves not being able to have done more to prevent the proverbial &%^$* hitting the fan, these people find it necessary to place blame on something or someone in order to make sense of non-sensible violence. Their foundation is shaky, like certain trees which one finds completely uprooted the morning after a storm.

  • Finally there were some who seemed completely unfazed by the war. Not that they didn't care. Take for example, my 80 year old neighbor, a holocaust survivor who lost his wife and children in the gas chambers and fought as a front line soldier in five major wars. He'd been tossed every which way and yet he seemed to bend with the wind. I asked him how he survived. "When you have experienced the horrors that I have, you see war is a painful part of life. Yet this too shall pass", he responded with a gentle smile on his face. He was flexible and firmly rooted in the ground strong and filled with a great love of life. I want what he has.

A lot of people have glimpses of responding the way my 80 year old neighbor did when faced with a painful violence and conflict, but much to their disappointment, it's not what they usually experience. For the most part when they're in crises, they're either like the strong, rugged types that snap under pressure...or more like the peace makers who lose their balance and go off center.

You take yourself with you wherever you go.

It's easy to practice when life is more or less going according to plan. But what do you do when the world suddenly crumbles around you and all goes awry? Run? Where can you run to?

The reality you perceive outside yourself is a reflection of the consciousness you hold inside yourself. "If you are experiencing bombs blasting", ask yourself, "Where am I undermining the highest good by throwing bombs in my life?"

If you cannot accept the war in yourself, how will you honestly be able to accept the true peace in yourself?

Where does "war" erupt in your life?

Are you in transition, facing the storms of uncertainty and change?

Your world as you have known it is crumbling. Perhaps you are going through a divorce, a bankruptcy, losing your job, or experiencing a medical crisis.

Decisions have to be made, often in the face of opposition.

It's vital now to be able to express your truth so you can be heard in the face of almost unbearably stressful change. But you are having trouble feeling the ground beneath your feet, much less standing firmly upon it.

You want to stay firm in your truth and make decisions from a grounded place in the face of mounting pressures from all sides. But how?

You're not a babe in the woods when it comes to challenge. You know how valuable it is for inner growth. Yet what you are facing now, only one who walks through fire without being burnt could help you. It's a mystery. How do the wise masters stay calm when all is falling apart around them?

Even the wise masters are faced with challenges.

The truth is that wise masters are also faced with challenge when all goes awry. The outer conflict is there. Handling unforeseen rockets of upset blasting out of seemingly nowhere is a difficult thing for even the strongest Buddha-like personality. In these situations, it's neither possible nor practical to remove yourself into an isolated cave for meditating upon a peaceful response. You're in the middle of it, and there is nowhere to hide.

In these situations, it's not what you do, but how you are in the middle of it all that determines how peaceful you remain.

What you really need in order to remain calm in the midst the chaos is to embrace it first, and second, to understand how others in dire situations have dived head first into the seemingly dangerous funeral pyre of challenge only to rise like a phoenix, initiated through alchemical fires of transformation.

Caring for Yourself in Conflict

What makes conflict so painful is that you're at war with reality. You want them to stop yelling, to behave differently, to acknowledge you, or maybe not even to agree with you, but just hear you. But try as you might - it's out of your control.

It seems like you're caring of yourself because you're doing your best to get your needs met, but many times your way ends up frustrating you, depleting your energy and emotional well-being, wondering why it feels easier speaking to the wall.

The great news - it's never too late to make peace in your relationship with yourself. It's about reconnecting to the source of your very own calm. Right now, in this present moment, you have 100% ability to arrive at that still, quiet place that patiently awaits you on the gentle shores beyond the stormy seas of your inner conflict.

We are the instruments of peace. To live our lives in true harmony requires resolving our dissonant inner wars inside.

I had an incredible opportunity to resolve mine. This is why I stayed in the face of fire. It allowed me to write and record this book so that we could strengthen peace together.

"It made me cry..blessed my heart, broke my heart open...so good...I'm still nearly speechless...It's  short and really powerful.
If you ever heard her voice...that would clinch it...SO personal with beautiful, deep things to do to promote internal peace.

Walking the Walk, Talking the Talk

When the war began and hundreds of bombs blasted daily around my village in the otherwise peaceful hills of Galilee, like example number one above, everyone who could, fled south where the bombs could not reach them.

Except me. And a few other people… including my eighty year old neighbor, from example three.

Why, you may wonder, would I deliberately choose to stay in an obviously life threatening situation?

The answer:

I moved to Northern Israel following a strong inner direction and commitment to live in peace – with myself, and those around me. Living it means practicing it.

Quiet in the Eye of the Storm

This inspirational home study course will show you both the strategy to remain at peace even in a dire situation of war with bombs dropping around you, and provide you with practical steps of how to penetrate your deepest fears, transforming them into a nourishing source of safety, calm and courage for yourself and others.

I wrote and recorded this book to provide you with real life inspiration and practical guidance of how to live calmly in the midst of chaos.

Spoken with an Open Heart

This entire book was written in real time, as bombs were exploding around me. The audio was recorded in the midst of the war. Recording the audio was how I chose to respond to having to flee my village after watching the bomb blast in front of my eyes.

My heart was ripped apart, yet it was blasted open. I figured it would be a good idea to keep it that way.

The authentic quality of peace you'll experience through my narration is authentic, despite the mayhem that was going on around me.

If you would be willing, please allow me to help you prepare for the best even in the worst of all circumstances. This is how true peace is made, one person at a time.

If you are genuinely interested in living in peace and sharing all that is good, I invite you to take down your shields so we can connect

If I can remain peaceful in the middle of war, you certainly can too, remain centered and at ease in the midst of your own chaos. The book is a short 49 pages long. When you are in crisis, the last thing you need is a thesis!

I would sincerely like to share the beauty of my life, my genuine self, and my peace with you. If at least one person reading this book would find comfort and hope in these words, then my effort will have been more than worth it. If you’ll allow me to connect with you, then we can both be blessed. That’s how it works, I am learning.

By connecting with you, I am healing my loneliness and sense of separation. Hopefully you are healing your own sense of separation and finding peace within you wherever you are and whatever you are experiencing in life.

Be Honest with Yourself

Many people deny to themselves how ill at ease they really feel when they meet with their inner conflict and vulnerability. It's almost like they're going against themselves, "It's not really so bad, They don't really mean it, I can handle it meditating and releasing."

Now while it may be true that it could be worse, take a moment to be honest with yourself here...

  • How many eruptions have you had within the last month - where you were so set on being right that no resolution came from whatever the situation at hand was?
  • How many times in the last week have you started out a conversation or correspondence with the best intentions and then watched it blow up as either you or the other person got defensive, hurt, or angry from a misunderstanding?
  • How many people have you been meaning to connect with , but because you've feel frightened by your vulnerability and how that might affect they way they see or think about you, you're avoiding them altogether.
  • How many people are you holding grudges against leaving you feeling hurt or angry?

I totally get that it might seem like going in a negative direction to take a closer look at those things that are in conflict in your life, yet that's also the first part of rebalancing yourself and to living your life with more peace.

Now that you know where your vulnerable conflicts are, you can bring some awareness to those particular areas and watch your experiences transform from there. That's what the Quiet in the Eye of the Storm is all about.

Are you ready to allow yourself to remain calm even amidst calamity?
