The Rains | Voices for American Liberty
is a graceful and uplifting historical novel about personal and societal transformation and the quest for a greater America.

The story is inspired by actual events and reveals the struggles of a multi-racial community of activists who sacrificed to abolish slavery and promote sweeping societal reforms.  It was a turbulent period when Americans sought to realize the true meaning of "We the People."  But it was more than intellectual combat.  It was a battle for the heart and soul of a nation.
