I am Jagan Varadarajan. After four wonderful years spent at ADSC, Illinois at Singapore Pt Ltd, Singapore as a Research Scientist and a Post Doc, I joined Grab (the leading ride-hailing company in Southeast Asia) as a Data Science Lead for Machine Learning Team. Short Bio I obtained my Ph.D from Swiss Federale Institute of Technology, (EPFL, Lausanne), and Idiap Research Institute, Switzerland in August 2012. My Ph.D work was supervised by Dr. Jean-Marc Odobez. Previously, I received my B.Sc (Mathematics), M.Sc (Mathematics) and M.Tech in Computer Science from Sri Sathya Sai University, Prasanthi Nilayam, AP, India. Subsequently, I worked as a Scientist at HP Labs, Bangalore and GE Global Research, Bangalore before hopping onto my PhD.
