• We are pleased to announce that our Indo–USA collaborative project, "Development of Inverse-Designed Flat Optics for Femtosecond Pulse-Assisted Rapid and High-Throughput Processing of Advanced Materials," has been awarded financial support by the United States–India Science & Technology Endowment Fund (USISTEF).

• Our recent work on "Generating nondiffracting bottle beams with a flat multilevel diffractive lens" has been published in ACS Photonics.

• Our recent research work on "Abrupt autofocusing and scintillation dynamics of truncated circular Airy derivative beams in strong turbulence " has been published in  Optics Communications.

• Our recent research work on "Impact of input wavelength and fiber numerical aperture on multimode soliton dynamics in GRIN-MMFs" has been published in  Optics Communications.

• Our collaborative research work titled "Extended depth-of-focus femtosecond laser pulses for flexible micromachining" has been accepted for publication in Optics Letters (2025) published by Optical Society of America, USA.

• Congratulations to Vasu Dev on receiving an offer of postdoc position from Center for Quantum Technologies, National University of Singapore (NUS), Singapore. 

• Ms. Anita Kumari received the best poster presentation award in an annual conference "Physics Day 2024" organized by the Department of Physics, IIT Ropar, 16 March 2024.

• Our work on "Novel method for identifying the topological charge of discrete vortices" has won the Best Poster award in National Laser Symposium (NLS-32) held at RRCAT Indore, 29 January - 1 February 2024.

• Mr. Vasu Dev (PhD student) received the best poster award in a conference ISRAPS 2023, organized by Department of Physics, IIT Ropar, 21 October 2023.

• Mr. Vasu Dev (PhD student) successfully defended his PhD thesis on 20 September 2023. Many congratulations!!

• Our recent research work on "Probing topological charge of discrete vortices" has been accepted for publication in a reputed jounral Physical Review Applied, published by American Physical Society.

• Our recent work on "Autofocusing and self-healing of partially blocked circular Airy derivative beams" has been accepted for publication in a reputed journal Optics & Laser Technology published by Elsevier.

• Mr. Vasu Dev (PhD student) won the Best Oral Presentation Award in an international conference "PHOTONICS 2023", organized by IISc Bangalore, Banglore, 5-8 July 2022.

• Mr. Vasu Dev, PhD student, submitted his PhD thesis titled "Generation and characterization of spatially controlled structured light with exotic propagation properties" on 13 June 2023.

• Our 5 papers have been accepted in PHOTONICS 2023, out of which 4 as Orals, and 1 as poster.

• Mr. Vasu Dev (PhD student) won the Best Poster Award for presenting work on "Propagation and self-healing properties of autofocused aberration laser beams in a turbulent media" in a conference SCOP 2022, 7th Student Conference on Optics & Photonics, Physical Research Laboratory, Ahmedabad, Gujrat, 28-30 September 2022.

• Our recent work on "Generating high-energy densities by sidelobe suppression in the far-field of phase-locked lasers" has been published in JOSA B (Optica Publishing Group, USA)

• Received SERB International Research Experience (SIRE) Grant for the year 2022-2023 supported by the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), a statutory body of the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. 

• Our collaborative work titled "Effect of linewidth enhancement factor on the generation of optical vortices in a class-A degenerate cavity semiconductor laser," has been accepted for publication in Optics Express (Optica Publishing Group, USA).

• Our research project "Next generation of high power ultrafast fiber lasers based on controlled space-time dynamics in amplifying nonlinear multimode fiber" has been approved for funding by the DST SERB under the Core Research Grant (2021).

• Our research work titled "Autofocused asymmetric aberration laser beams"  has been accepted for ORAL presentation in 20th International Conference Laser Optics (ICLO 2022), to be held on 20-24 June, 2022, St. Petersburg, Russia.

• Our research work titled "High-power discrete vortex with phase-locked lasers" has been accepted for invited presentation in 20th International Conference Laser Optics (ICLO 2022), to be held on 20-24 June, 2022, St. Petersburg, Russia.

• Our work titled "Generation of discrete vortex with phase-locked lasers" has been presented in a workshop on Light-Matter Interactions in Low Dimensional and Topological Photonics Materials, organized by Indian Institute of Science Banglore, India.

• For our research work, we received S. R. Seshadri JOSA Publications Grant 2021 by OPTICA, USA.

• Vasu Dev (PhD student) received 2021 Jean Bennett Student Waived Registration Grant for presenting  research work of "Propagation invariant features of ALBs in a turbulent media,"  in FiO+Laser Science 2021 Conference, USA.

• Our research article "Divergence and self-healing of discrete vortex formed by phase-locked lasers" has been accepted in Journal of Optical Society of America B, published by OPTICA, USA.

• Our work on "High-resolution digitally controlled multimode laser" has been accepted for publication in OPN Year in Review 2021.

• Our work on "Propagation invariant features of ALBs in a turbulent media" has been accepted for presentation in Frontier in Optics + Laser Science (FiO LS 2021), 31 October - 4 November 2021, Virtual Event,  USA.
