Congratulations to Vasu Dev for receiving an offer of postdoc position from Centre of Quantum Technologies, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
Ms. Anita Kumari received the best poster presentation award in an annual conference "Physics Day 2024" organized by the Department of Physics, IIT Ropar, 16 March 2024.
Our work on "Novel method for identifying the topological charge of discrete vortices" has won the Best Poster award in National Laser Symposium (NLS-32) held at RRCAT Indore, 29 January - 1 February 2024.
Mr. Vasu Dev (PhD student) received the best poster award in a conference ISRAPS 2023, organized by Department of Physics, IIT Ropar, 21 October 2023.

Our recent research work on "Probing topological charge of discrete vortices" has been accepted for publication in a reputed jounral Physical Review Applied, published by American Physical Society.
Our recent work on "Autofocusing and self-healing of partially blocked circular Airy derivative beams" has been accepted for publication in a reputed journal Optics & Laser Technology published by Elsevier.
Mr. Vasu Dev (PhD student) won the Best Oral Presentation Award in an international conference "PHOTONICS 2023", organized by IISc Bangalore, Banglore, 5-8 July 2022.
Mr. Vasu Dev, PhD student, submitted his PhD thesis titled "Generation and characterization of spatially controlled structured light with exotic propagation properties" on 13 June 2023.
Our 5 papers have been accepted in PHOTONICS 2023, out of which 4 as Orals, and 1 as poster.
Mr. Vasu Dev (PhD student) won the Best Poster Award for presenting work on "Propagation and self-healing properties of autofocused aberration laser beams in a turbulent media" in a conference SCOP 2022, 7th Student Conference on Optics & Photonics, Physical Research Laboratory, Ahmedabad, Gujrat, 28-30 September 2022.
Our recent work on "Generating high-energy densities by sidelobe suppression in the far-field of phase-locked lasers" has been published in JOSA B (Optica Publishing Group, USA)
Received SERB International Research Experience (SIRE) Grant for the year 2022-2023 supported by the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), a statutory body of the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India.
Our collaborative work titled "Effect of linewidth enhancement factor on the generation of optical vortices in a class-A degenerate cavity semiconductor laser," has been accepted for publication in Optics Express (Optica Publishing Group, USA).
Our research project "Next generation of high power ultrafast fiber lasers based on controlled space-time dynamics in amplifying nonlinear multimode fiber" has been approved for funding by the DST SERB under the Core Research Grant (2021).
