  • Dear Parents and Guardians,
Thank you everyone for being so understanding and flexible dealing with the challenges that our weather has been handing us this school year. Due to the number of days we've had to cancel school, we will need to make up some of this time. In an effort to make as little change as possible to our school calendar, we have made the following changes to add extra classroom time.
Students will have a full day of school on Wednesday, February 22 and Thursday,     June 1. (NOTE: These dates were previously not full days of school)
Please keep in mind that if we have anymore days that are delayed or closed, we will add those school days to the end of the school year. Please contact your student's teacher with any questions or concerns.
    Thanks. Mr. Schneider

      Parent's and Students

      Co-Curricular Events Behavior Expectations

The Viroqua Area School District supports and encourages families to come and attend after school events.  These events, whether it is a musical performance, sporting event, or theatrical production help to build the school community and show school spirit; however; we are asking for the help of our parents.  When attending any school related function, please know that you are responsible for your children’s behavior.  The same behavior expectations that are held during the school day for your child are the same expectations that carry over to any event on school grounds.  Please be mindful of where your children are at and what they are doing while you attend these events.  The events are to be enjoyable, entertaining, and safe for all of those in attendance.  Thank you for helping monitor your child’s behavior!
