Vine Embroidery can take on a variety of individual commissions. Work is undertaken to restore or conserve pieces such as antique samplers, christening robes, ecclesiastical items and other family heirlooms.

Some pieces can be cleaned and professionally re-mounted. Embroideries with worn backgrounds can be transferred to preserve the embroidery and bring it back to life. Worn canvases such as chair seats, footstools and cushions can be re-stitched or re-beaded. Lace work and fine white work can also be restored, as can many other items.

Examples of previous Vine Embroidery commissions include evening bags, slippers and bodices, samplers for special occasions and church vestments.

Samplers can be worked for births, marriages, anniversaries or just for their traditional charm.

Unfinished projects that may have been abandoned in cupboards and drawers can be completed to a high standard.

Vine Embroidery also offers a professional mounting service using acid free card, helping to protect your work for years to come.

Please contact Clare at Vine Embroidery with your requirements.
