First of all thanks for visiting my page. I'm Vinod Kumar K V, working as a Sr. Software Engineer, developing applications for Symbian OS from India. My favorite platform is S60 and areas of interests are Bluetooth, Network and Device Drivers.

 I designed this site to share my thoughts, experiences, and know-how related to the mobile application development with you. You will find some useful articles in the Articles section. Forum Nokia Developer Advisory Council

I've been selected as a recognized member of the Forum Nokia Developer Advisory Council (DAC) since April 2008. This recognition is been granted for the participation in the subcommittee of Bluetooth Point-to-Multipoint Example(April 2008) application and Example Stub concept(February 2009) reviews.

Developer Day @ Las Vegas, NV

I'd attended the Forum Nokia Developer Day, formerly called as Champion Day, at Las Vegas on March 31st, 2008. It was my first trip to US, and was my privilege to meet some of the Nokia fellows and Champions in person.

Forum Nokia Champion - 2008

I've been re-selected for the Forum Nokia Champion program 2008 - 2009 on 26th of February, 2008.

Accredited Symbian Developer - 2008

I've been rewarded the Accredited Symbian Developer (ASD) Certificate on 9th January, 2008. Now I'm also an official member of ASD. ;)

Forum Nokia Wiki Administration Team

During the month of August 2007 Nokia Ron had selected me as a member of Forum Nokia Developers Wiki Administration Team.

Champion's Day @ Singapore

I'd attended the Forum Nokia Champion Day at Singapore on June 19th, 2007. There I got the wonderful opportunity to meet several other Forum Nokia Champions from around the world along with few of the Nokia chaps. It was a very nice trip.

Wiki Contributor of the Month

Forum Nokia Wiki has been honored me as a Wiki Contributor of the Month, April 2007. The hottest thing is that I'll be getting an Nokia N95 Multimedia Device. ;)

Forum Nokia Champion - 2007

I've been invited for the Forum Nokia Champion program on 24th of January, 2007. It is a one year program, the key features include a Welcome Gift (Forum Nokia Champion device and a diploma), access to the FN Champ Extranet, a privilege to create blogs in Forum Nokia Blogs and much more... :)

New Project on SourceForge.NET

SoruceForge.NET is the world's largest development and download repository of Open Source code and applications. I've created a new open source project named BTFileSend in SourceForge on 23rd December, 2006. Google Groups

The two Google Groups, which has been created and moderated by me are becoming more active these days.

  • Symbian C++: The first ever popular Google group for Symbian C++ Developers. It is fully dedicated to the Symbian C++ Developers, you may discuss all the matters related with the Symbian OS C++ development over there.
  • SymbianSeries60: This group is for Symbian Series60 mobiles, you may ask any sorts of questions related with Series60, find some mobile contents and share your knowledge and findings there.
