Village Outreach Society

proudly supporting families and villages since the Tsunami disaster of 26 December 2004

As from 11th August 2012 VOS UK will no longer be fundraising or registered with the Charity Commission.

Audrie and Alun made the decision to close the UK branch of Village Outreach following the success of the Eco Femme Project.  Auroville Village Action Group now receive income from international sales and they no longer require our financial backing.

We are proud to have helped many families, communities and schools over the past 6 years and would like to thank all our donors without whom these projects would not have been possible.

Village Outreach Canada will be continuing with their fundraising and supporting projects around the world.

What makes our charity unique?

VOS is unique in that we five trustees, offer our time and skills voluntarily to realise the charity’s mission. We incur mininal expense travelling to India, to work directly with the village leaders and residents to ensure that the money you donate goes to those who need it most. We
have helped develop sustainable businesses, assisted schools with basic needs and continue to support community projects that have the greatest impact on day to day life.
