I am a Career Development Fellow at the Department of Economics and Queen's College at the University of Oxford. I obtained my PhD from the European University Institute, Florence, italy.
My research spans expectations in macroeconomics, monetary policy and productivity. Two general themes are understanding the importance of deviations from rational expectations and full information for explaining macroeconomic phenomena and the evolution of productivity differences between countries.
What's new?
I hosted the workshop "What have we learned about the macroeconomic effect of forward guidance?" funded by the Money Macro and Finance Society (MMF) featuring speakers from the Bank of England, FED system, ECB, etc. Recording available at https://mmf2021fg.co.uk/
