Welcome to the world of Viking Power Software.

The Versatile Wavelength Analysis (VWA) software was designed to analyse stellar spectra of "normal" stars, i.e. FGK-type stars - both main sequence and giants. Double-lined binaries can also be analysed with VWA.

On this website you can download the IDL programs and documentation needed to install and run the code.

Before starting to use the programs please read the papers that are available through ADS (especially the Bruntt et al. 2010 papers: A, B). There is also a manual available in the files section.

Go to the files section to download the files needed to run and understand VWA.
