MISSION

The Vietnamese American Professional Women Association of Silicon Valley (VAPW) strives to outreach, educate, prepare and engage Vietnamese American professional women in areas of leadership and development, to provide a network of support and promote the professional growth of its members, to mentor and encourage youths in the community to enter professional careers, and to encourage community responsibility and participation. 
 

ABOUT US

The Vietnamese American Professional Women Association of Silicon Valley (VAPW), a 501(c)(3) organization, was founded in December 2006 to address the unique challenges that Vietnamese American women face today.

VAPW is dedicated to professional and personal growth for Vietnamese American women of all ages and backgrounds. Our vision is to build a strong support network for one another and strengthen our community ties.

In addition, VAPW seeks to affect positive changes through the support and mentorship of young women to enter diverse professional careers. We welcome all men and women who support our mission to participate in our events and encourage them to join our organization.

Founded in 2006, the Vietnamese American Professional Women Association of Silicon Valley (VAPW) strives to outreach, educate, prepare and engage Vietnamese American professional women in areas of leadership and development, to provide a network of support and promote the professional growth of its members, to mentor and encourage youths in the community to enter professional careers (including STEM or Science, technology, engineering, and mathematics careers), and to encourage community responsibility and participation.

VAPW members will commit themselves to the highest standards of ethics and professional conduct. The VAPW accomplishes its mission through a variety of activities including guest speaker luncheon series, educational forums, scholarship programs, mentorship programs and participation in other community events.

The VAPW is non-partisan and does not make political endorsements.
